Athol Trollip has been the leader of the Democratic Alliance in Parliament since the general election of 2009, where he defeated party strategist Ryan Coetzee for the position.
He will be speaking in the midst of an election campaign that pits him against the party’s national spokesperson, Lindiwe Mazibuko, in which the DA and ID’s parliamentary caucus jointly vote - on October 27 - for its new parliamentary leader.
Trollip will take questions.
